In November 2023 Susanna was awarded The Royal Swedish Music Academys highest award "Medaljen för Tonkonstens främjande"  for her "dedicated and highly creative choral work for strengthening ans developing choral and musical life in the northern part of Sweden"

I november 2023 emottog Susanna Kungliga Musikaliska Akademiens högsta utmärkelse Medaljen för Tonkonstens Främjande för sitt "outtröttliga och kreativa arbete med att stärka och utveckla körsången och musiklivet i norra Sverige"

Susanna Lindmark is a creative and innovative choral conductor, composer, singer  and entrepreneur that in Arctic Light Girls Choir have founded a musical green house for young female singers from the whole region of Norrbotten. With her way of working with choreography, communication, scenic expression and improvisation in addition to  traditional choral methods, Susanna has created a very special artistic language for the choir. Her own music, her leadership and her methods, that have been moulded out for a long time, are all significant parts of the artistic profile of Arctic Light.

She is very dedicated to her clear visions about a creative ledarship that serves not only to the group, but also gives  every singer as an individual the space for development , musically and socially, and also room for exploring her/ his own potential. The strength that lies in the creative processes not only builds the choir artistically, but also involves processes in fields of entrepreneurship qualities / abilities such as courage, responsibility, cooperation, for example. These methods that she has built through several years of choral work also functions as a tool for buildning strong teams and individuals that can contribute to the good society.

Susanna is demanded both as composer  (commissions) and a lecturer in different kinds of contexts such as choral conventions etc besides her role as Artistic Director for Arctic Light Girls Choir and also in her role as initiator  and project manager of  the newly started Choral Centre North at The regional music institution of Norrbotten, Norrbottensmusiken.

She has also a history of working as choral conductor at for example Nacka Music School and the University of Music in Piteå. 
In 2012 she was awarded Piteå Culture Prize, and has been CEO of the classical festival Festspelen in Piteå 2013.
From 2014 -2022 she was a member of the board of Swedish Choral Conductors Association.

Kreativ körledare, kompositör och sångerska som i den unga sceniska vokalensemblen Arctic Light har skapat ett musikaliskt växthus för unga kvinnliga sångare i Norrbotten, där koreografi, kommunikation, sceniskt uttryck och improvisation är viktiga delar i det unika konstnärliga uttrycket. Susannas kompositioner, ledarskap och noga utmejslade arbetsmetoder är alla viktiga beståndsdelar i de stora framgångar som kören uppnått sedan starten 2004. 

Susanna Lindmark är utbildad sångpedagog och kreativ körledare som arbetat bl. a. i Nacka musikklasser och som universitetsadjunkt på Musikhögskolan i Piteå. Arbetar deltid på Norrbottensmusiken som prducent och konstnärlig ledare för Arctic Light.
Hon brinner för ledarskap som tar till vara på människors kreativitet och kompetens. Susanna är en sann förebild och inspiratör med ett stort hjärta och en unik förmåga att lyfta människor till sin rätta plats.
Susanna utsågs till Piteå Kommuns Kulturpristagare 2012 och har även varit VD och Konstnärlig ledare för Festspelen i Piteå. Hon har varit styrelseledamot i Föreningen Sveriges Körledare  2014-2022.
